My Passion

"I was first diagnosed with severe OCD and Depression during my graduate training. It was my own challenges accessing high-quality treatment that drove me to seek out specialized training in anxiety and OC spectrum disorders and ultimately informed the patient-centered treatment model that is used at the Child Anxiety Center. I was born in Peru, grew up in Paraguay, and studied Culinary Arts in Italy where I met my wife, Clara, who is from the Dominican Republic. I have been fortunate to be able to travel extensively throughout South America and Europe and am able to practice fluently in Spanish. In my spare time you will find me playing with my kids Theo, Zoe, and Mia, seeking new culinary experiences, working the children’s check-in at church, or traveling to new destinations."
